Sulawesi (also known as Celebes) is an Indonesian island characterized by a tropical climate, an unexplored richness of flora and fauna species and a multitude of still undiscovered species.
It has become an interesting research target for many scientists.
Unfortunately, some of the species will never be described or even known of their existence. This island, once entirely covered with tropical forest, is subject to deforestation year after year (or perhaps it is worth writing overnight) for agriculture, oil palm cultivation, mining and other human activities consisting in transforming the phenomenal jungle for commercial purposes.
This beautiful wealth of nature has become our goal to explore, especially because of the plants, fish and other living creatures.
